Marco André Lavagnino was born in El Salvador in 2001. At the age of six, he moved to Mexico City, and at eleven, to the United States. He studied Communications at the College of New Jersey and spent a semester at the University of Toronto.

His anxiety inducing debut short film BLINK notably competed at the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma’s RPCÉ category to represent UofT. Continuing a similar theme of spiraling dehumanization is his psychological thriller ANTE EL PIE DERECHO, currently on its festival run. Among his other completed projects as writer/director are his music videos. His most recent of which blends the song with a cat and mouse plot in SICK OF IT.

He enjoys photography as well.
